After I published the Future Flora Pendant Lights a few days ago, Artecnica co-founder Tahmineh Javanbakht sent over a thank you for the post and put me on their email list for future press releases.

Future Flora Pendant Lights

Dutch designer Tord Boontje's new lighting series Future Flora for Artecnica is a combination of observation and memory. He began by looking closely at flowers and quickly moved to a 'project of memory', so his pendants are a hybrid of the real and the imagined. Flowers, but not exactly. Beautiful.
