I resisted as long as I could. Empire of the Sun is like MGMT and The Neverending Story XVIII on acid. The video for Walking on a Dream was filmed in Shanghi and looks like a compilation of deleted scenes from Barbarella and a Shaw Brothers kung fu movie. The enigmatic electronic Australian duo of Nick Littlemore and Luke Steele create the sound of two men at the peak of their powers 'pushing up the hill, searching for the thrill of it'. Kind of a cliff hanger, huh.
