Foose

The room in the house big enough for a pool table is never actually big enough for a pool table. It inevitably fails to be the Place to Be (see George Costanza's bedroom). The pool table is nothing more than a place to set your drinks, make puzzles, have sex and put together bristol board presentations. However, the room with the Foosball table is always the Place to Be. Maybe that's why Foosball is one of my favorite things. Ever. Jeff always said that if our dad went on a Japanese sabbatical we could have developed into pretty solid table tennis players. The same sentiment holds for the foose (in this instance it would be a sabbatical to any drinking establishment).

'11' is a new table designed by GRO design and developed by TIM model makers. It is due to be exhibited for the first time at Milan Design Week later this month.
This foose table has more symbolism and artistic merit than most Dan Brown novels do. The table's design represents the spectacle of modern stadium architecture and the passion for the sport of football. The 22 players are done in chrome to represent their status in society. And so on.

Someday I want to grow up and have a foosball table. Someday.
