This photo spread was done for Vanity Fair in March 2008 depicting some of Alfred Hithcock's most iconic scenes using contemporary actors. Javier Bardem, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron, Renee Zellweger, Jodie Foster, Keira Knightley, Emile Hirsch, Seth Rogen, Gweneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin among others. Hithcock is one of my favorite auteur directors and these photos are rendered with an incredible attention to detail and the macabre mood that characterizes his films.
