The owners of a 700 square foot loft in Montreal Canada needed to create a unique space for their new born baby. The L. McComber Architects firm created a suspended platform bed made of curved douglas fir plywood and tubular steel to solve the 'problem'. A privileged problem to have. A creative way to use a small space effectively instead of expanding into large unused and impersonal spaces. Once again, this is the home as a continuous mouldable surface in which life and human activity pop out. Beautiful.
