The Future of Chrome

In conjunction with the opening of the Rirkrit Tiravanija: Reflection last night at the Nyehaus exhibition space in New York, the exhibition’s opening night featured an invitational table tennis tournament. The friendly tournament revolved around the exhibit’s marquee piece, the Tiravanija “Untitled” (The Future of Chrome) table designed by Cumulus Studios. The table is made to regulation and completely mirrored.

Table tennis comes a close second to foose. Just as table tennis in your backyard comes a close second to having a Wimbledon quality grass tennis court in your backyard. I suppose my future backyard will have to include both. Might as well get a good tan while you're demonstrating your Japanese sabbatical skills.
