Life In Photos

Jeff Harris' New Years resolution for 1999 was to take a photo of himself everyday as a way to document his life. Unlike resolving to work harder, exercise more or get back your absent beach bod before summer, the Toronto based photographer actually stood by his resolution and has taken a photo a day for the last 10 years.

The images are not photo booth style complacency that plot the growth of facial hair or which day he did or didn't wear glasses. The self portraiture chronicles Jeff's life in spectacular and mundane ways through the natural highs and lows of his life. Real life. Jeff also involves famous collaborators including Al Gore, Conrad Black, David Cronenberg, and Steve Nash. His photos are more cinematic than the average Facebook gallery and worth spending some time filing through.

Jeff spoke with Jian Ghomeshi on the Thursday January 8th edition of Q the podcast.
