The Pack A.D.

The Pack A.D. are a Canadian blues rock femme fatale duo from British Columbia. Becky Black and Maya Miller's second studio album, the Funeral Mixtape, is a steady blues journey with joyful highs and lows. Every track is built like a good blues song should be: simple guitar riffs, steady drum beats and some passionate lyrics. Their catalogue might recieve as many every-song-sounds-the-same accusations as Jack Johnson, but their sound works. They know what they are good at, and that's okay.

Any band that includes cowboys, bandits, Clint Eastwood, coffee, smoky bars, Bret Easton Ellis, The American Civil War, and Patrick Swayze from Roadhouse amongst their influences is A-OK by me.

They are definitly worthy of being your new favorite band.
Canadian music a-go-go!
