The
Buddha Project was a sand castle collaboration between
ENG,
BYN &
DIX in the summer of
2009. What began as an early morning
BOP nap session quickly became a creative venture for the ages. The
8 x 4 x 4 mound of sand was sculpted by hand over a
four hour period with influences of
art,
interior design,
fruit snacks and
unbridled passion. Capitalist ventures - which in this instance means small coin donations from beach walkers - were ignored in favor of
aerial photography of the sculpture. The balance between benjamins and artistic vision. Surely, one of the greatest days ever spent on the plaige.
