Elisa Nalin x The Selby

My favorite cataloging photographer Todd Selby recently visited stylist Elisa Nalin at her eclectic Paris flat. Nalin's colourful collection seems to leave wall space gasping for breath. Every inch serving some sort of 'purpose'. It seems to me that as individuals we are often a product and reflection of the things we collect. A series of accumulated nic nacs and artifacts paint a picture of what we are - or perhaps wish we were - on the the inside. Once again, the way Selby creates a collage of pictures and scribbled interview questions catalogues the life of a beautiful person. You can imagine your own special things being laid out before you in a similar fashion and painting just as acurate a portrait. Beautiful.
