Design firm Bleu Nature from France frequently uses natural and organic materials in their design. The ILLU Outdoor Shelter, from their 2009 Spring/Summer collection, is an openwork outdoor shelter made of natural oak from French forests. The wood laths rest on a white, lacquered stainless steel structure. Exposed to the weather and the elements, they will slowly and naturally develop its own patina.I think the GB beach enhancement project could use a few ILLUs to lounge about on a beautiful Canadian summer day.
