Light Beat

Light Beat is an installation by designer Alex Beim, originally created for the Illuminate Yaletown festival in Vancouver. The work allows the audience to become participants in the installation by placing their index finger on the Intellijel Heart Rate monitor and sensor as the music and Tangible Light Pixels inside the inflatable react to their heart beat.

The absolute anthem Kids was the perfect soundtrack to this multimedia design. MGMT is 90% heartbeat and 10% electric eel.
