The Sumaré home in Sao Paulo Brazil was by designed by Isay Weinfeld. Working with height restrictions and the limitations of a small lot, the design goes below ground to create a three floor working paradise for the graphic designer who calls it home. I enjoy the pieced together textures of the concrete, black venetian and illuminated gridwork that make up a single fluid space on the inside. The bright open spaces of the interior include a swimming pool, ballet studio and open access to a backyard garden area. Best of all, is the rooftop patio to enjoy the city skyline and Brazilian heat. There is nothing better than interiors that incourage outdoor living.
