Sumaré in Sao Paulo Brazil

The Sumaré home in Sao Paulo Brazil was by designed by Isay Weinfeld. Working with height restrictions and the limitations of a small lot, the design goes below ground to create a three floor working paradise for the graphic designer who calls it home. I enjoy the pieced together textures of the concrete, black venetian and illuminated gridwork that make up a single fluid space on the inside. The bright open spaces of the interior include a swimming pool, ballet studio and open access to a backyard garden area. Best of all, is the rooftop patio to enjoy the city skyline and Brazilian heat. There is nothing better than interiors that incourage outdoor living. When the two spaces become one.
