Where the Wild Things Are

Where The Wild Things Are
by Maurice Sendak has been translated into live action film for the first time by director Spike Jonze. Originally published in 1963, the classic children's book is finally being pressed for the big screen in what looks like an accurate and adventurous attempt, with Forest Whitaker taking on the role of Wild Thing. Add this to the list of movies to see.

The trailer is scored by the Arcade Fire's Wake Up to fantastic effect.

I'm not surprised!
I think every public school library in North America has a WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE poster somewhere.
