While Port-au-Prince is at the epicentre of Haiti's current crisis, Jacmel, its burgeoning cultural centre felt the effects in a tremendous way. The country's lone film school, the Ciné Institute, crumbled to the ground before the eyes of its loyal pupils. The students exhumed the surviving camera equipment from the rubble and strive on now to report the aftermath to the world. Haitians telling the stories of Haitians through film.
