I will forever be partial to the haunting Cormac McCarthy jacket covers by Chip Kidd; however, this series by designer David Pearson seems an appropriate aesthetic for perhaps the greatest American author of our generation. Or perhaps any generation. A certain attention to detail and passionate obsession with font make these text based covers proper packaging for the undeniably great works of literature they are.
