Unlike architecture's current fascination with blurring the line between interior and exterior space, this design creates a strong sense of privacy and solitude while maintaining a connection with visually protected exterior spaces. Located in a dense urban neighbourhood, the house matches the height of smaller neighbours and breaks down the building's form with a series of smaller volumes.
