John Mayer's directorial debut is a grainy noir chronicling a performance day in Wollongong Australia. And it occurs to me that celebrities of any sort - John Mayer, Jason Segal or Jedi Knights - cannot entertain the idea of home for long. Or it all falls apart. You just have to get comfortable on whatever couch is afforded to you in whichever locker room your initials appear.
