Hinterland House

Situated on an eleven hectare site of sparsely grazed shrubs and rural Australian grasslands, the Hinterland House by Morris Partnership opens itself up to its surroundings while creating privacy inside without the use of obstructive barriers. The architecture and choice in materials are as fragmented and varied as its surroundings, encouraging its occupants to think. Or as the great Canadian novelist Timothy Findley would suggest, pay attention!
