There might be no better way to celebrate an anniversary online than with a personalized Google Doodle. Sesame Street rung in their 40th in the fall. Google Search Update

The changes are subtle until you hit enter. Google has dropped the drop shadow and further refined the ways in which you discover content. A new left hand navigation panel and redesigned results page make a good thing even better.

GMail Holiday Cards

I can't seem to keep up with this blog of mine. Soon. I promise. For example, the good people at Google recently offered a series of GMail themed holiday cards. The cards were available for postage to American addresses for a brief period. Nonetheless, you can still download and print the lil' doozies on your home computer and spread some cheer. I've downloaded the high resolution image and used it as a wallpaper. Tres cool.
