Journalist and comedy writer Ariane Sherine created the Atheist Bus Campaign which is currently running on 800 buses across the England. In June 2008, Ariane saw a red London bus featuring a Bible quote and the URL of a website. When she visited the website, it told her non-Christians would burn in hell for all eternity. Sherine responded by writing an article for The Guardian urging Atheists to donate £5 to fund an upbeat counter ad campaign. The response was overwhelming bringing in over £140,000 in donations and now non believers are having their say. Similar campaigns are being organized in Italy.Ariane Sherine spoke with guest host Jonathan Torrens on the Monday January 12th edition of Q the podcast.
