The Mama Quilla sugar cane carton (that's right, not milk) was designed by packaging student Camille Forget at the University of Quebec UQAM. The piece was inspired by the Central American holiday of Día de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead, traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2, which remembers deceased family members. It is a tradition to create Sugar Skulls in honour of the disappeared, which inspired Camille's packaging for sugar cane.
