The Mona Chair

Korean designer Kwang Hoo Lee has created a foldable chair using the Mona Lisa as its inspiration. Leonardo Da Vinci's masterpiece, and perhaps the world's most famous painting, doubles as the seat and can be collapsed to hang on the wall.

There is something industriuous and practicle about using high art as seating. I don't mean to suggest this was Lee's intention in any way, but in an economic crisis, even art of epic proportions becomes a place to rest your weary bones.
