The parking lot facade of the Kansas City Public Library features the spines of books chosen by the community, to best represent their community. I enjoy that Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison made the cut. Until reading the book for my Constructing Race seminar last term I had never heard of it. Now it pops up everywhere. Typical.
