The last time I posted a chandelier things turned out pretty great for me. So here we go again.London England based ceramicist Jo Davies and photographer Matthew Booth collaborated to design The Tangle Lamp. An intermingling of their common aesthetic interests, the result is a piece that encompasses the ceramicist's love for delicate shapes and the photographer's admiration for directional light. There is as much theory and philosophy behind this fixture as there are interwoven cords. A reinterpretation of the desk lamp, Booth and Davies' design is an image of tension and weight which struggles with practical home instillation. The 12 flute model is priced at £1350.
