Wu Ohh

This seems like a tiny piece of fate. Just yesterday, my brother and I were talking about the glory days of hip hop (you might remember that he is the reason I enjoy the genre). Gone are the days of the simple beat and smooth chorus with some heavy rhymes laid over top. Only Q-Tip manages to hold onto this formula with any amount of success.

The best Wu-related track in quite some time has finally surfaced from Raekwon's much anticipated album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II. Raekwon's Wu Ohh features fellow Clan members Ghostface Killah and Method Man. A little piece of the glory days.

If you pressed me hard enough, I could tell you how indebted the Wu Tang Clan is to Buddy Holly or how the first song they ever played together was Rock Around with Ollie Vee.
