Chopstick Steamer Stool

Taking cues from Chinese culture, design students Ryan Horsman and Jason Dembski, both students at the Taubman College of Architecture at the University of Michigan, created the Chopstick Steamer Stool. The pair imagined ways to reuse common Chinese items in new ways. The base of the stool is a series of six stacked bamboo steamers, which is then filled with cushioning materials and thousands of disposable chopsticks. Comfy.
