Austin Texas photographer Adam Voorhes is gaining a lot of attention for his latest series of photographs, Exploded, which reveals the diagramed potential of everyday objects. (I suppose a gun is an everyday object in Teckhas.) It occurs to me that these images seem to speak to the brain in fourth grade who took apart the family blender, only to spend the rest of the weekend piecing it altogether. It also occurs to me that there is a little piece of this wonderful curiosity in all of us.
