A Collection a Day

What's your New Years resolution? San Francisco mixed media artist and illustrator Lisa Congdon has a deliberate resolution for two thousand and ten. She has committed to photographing, drawing and (occasionally) painting a collection a day for the next three hundred and sixty five days. The creativity is in the 'organizing, arranging, and displaying' of her collections.

What strikes me most about this ingenious blog idea is the size and nature of the collections. Lisa is an artist. And so, her collections consist of erasers, paint brushes and pencil led. It's heart warming to know that such a simple assemblage of objects and artifacts can mean so much. A proper respect for the things we own. I'm following her blog. Are you?
