New York is Killing Me

I admire Hova's Empire State of Mind as much as the next guy. Even as much as the boys at Abeano Music do. That's why the emphatic rapper Nas and American spoken word poet Gil Scott-Heron's collaboration creates such compelling vision of New York without the gloss of Alicia Keys' keys. If nothing else, this track connects the bridge between poetry and hip hop like it should be. What do you think of this New York?
