Pushpin Portraits

File California born artist Eric Daigh somewhere between Christian Faur crayon pointillism and dixonfoma interviewee Scott Blake's barcode art. Based in Northern Michigan, Daigh creates his portraits using a series of colourful pushpins - around 11 000 at a time. While Scott Blake finds his muse in the pop culture factory machine of the Warhol Days, Daigh seems most interested in immortalizing his wife. A fine task.
