I can only imagine most architects grew up playing with Lego. Their parents nurture their love for the Danish blocks and cite it as the genesis of their career in design. This must have been the case with Australian architect Shaun Lockyer as he stacks and staggers volumes to compose the Timber and Glass House. The effect creates outdoor entertaining areas with natural materials and clean modern lines surrounding the central hub of the home: the kitchen. As it should be.
