A staff member from the
Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery in
Birmingham, England holds a selection of the 1,500 recently discovered gold and silver
Anglo-Saxon treasure pieces. Discovered by an amateur treasure hunter buried in a field, the collection is the largest ever found and is estimated by experts to date back to the
7th century.
