Globe and Mail and Vampires

I've been counting down to Vampire Weekend's sophomore album Contra like a ten year old who whispered 'Super Nintendo' into a mall Santa's ear. One more sleep! Tiding me over before the Tuesday release is Globe and Mail columnist Robert Everett-Green's on point article that negotiates VW's uncompromising pop sensibility and their critics - who complain the first disc was Paul Simon's Graceland 20 years later. Funny. That's exactly why I can't wait till Tuesday.
